correct option is B.

Intial velocity=v1=5m/seast wards

then after time t=10sec

v2=5m/s north wards

δv=V12+V22

         =25+25

         =52

acceleration a=timevelocity

                     =1052

                     =22×22

                     =21towards n-w

hope it helps uu

The acceleration of the car in 10 second:

Explanation:

  • Given that initial velocity =v1=5m/s east wards, then after time t=10sec, v2=5m/s north wards
  • δv= √V1² + √V2² = √25 +25 = 5√2
  • acceleration a= velocity/time = 5√2/10 = 1/√2 towards n-w.
  • 1/√2 is the answer.
