Hey ,

Your question :- A car is moving with velocity = 36 km / hour , then the distance covered by it in one sec = ???

Answer :-

As given above that velocity = 36 km / hour

Then as we know that in one hour thre are 60× 60
= 3600 sec

and in 1 km there is 1000 m

therefore by converting it into m / sec

=  36 × \frac{1000}{3600}

=  \frac{ 1000}{100}

= 10 m/sec

or it passes 10 metre in one sec

Shortcut to find speed in m/s from km/h

= multiply speed by  \frac{5}{18}

Hope it helps
