First we have to convert the velocity into m/s from km/h.

Velocity in m/s = 54 × (5/18) = 15 m/s.

Kinetic Energy = (1/2) m v^2

= (1/2) 40 × 15 × 15

= 4500 J

Answer:

v=54/1hr

54000/3600=15m/s

by using ke=1/2mv^2 we will get 4500j
