Answer:

Price Of The Car= Rs 640000

Per annum, it's total value will be depreciated by 10%,that's 10% of 640000=64000,so 64000 is depreciated every year

a) at 2 years,it will be 2x,where x=64000

2x=2×64000=128000

Total value- Depreciation= 640000-128000=512000

b) at 3 years,it will be 3x,where x=64000

3x=3×64000=192000

Total Value-Depreciation=

640000-192000=448000

hope it helps

Answer:

Answer of (a) = 518400

A = P (1 - R/100) ^n

= 640000 ( 1 - 10/100)^ 2

= 640000 ( 9/10)^2

= Rs 518400

Answer of (b) = Rs 466560

A = P (1 - R/100)^n

= 640000 (1 - 10/100)^3

= 640000 ( 9/10)^3

= Rs 466560
