Let the time taken for the entire journey be 2t hours.

Speed for first half time = 50 km/h

Speed for second half time = 100 km/h

Distance covered in first "t" time = 50 km/h × t = 50t km

Distance covered in next "t" time = 100 km/h × t = 100t km

Total distance covered = 50t + 100t = 150t

Total time taken = 2t

Average speed = \frac{Total. Distance}{Total.Time}

Average speed = \frac{150t}{2t}

Average speed = 75 km/h

Hence, the average speed for the entire journey is 75 km/h
