A car is travelling with a velocity of 8 m it is accelerated at 1m for a distance of 18m calculate it's final velocity?

Initial velocity ( u ) = 8m/s

Acceleration ( a ) = 1m/s^2 and

Distance ( S ) = 18 m

By using the formula , 2as = v^2 - u^2

Now , putting values of s , u , and a in the formula,

2 × 1 × 18 = v^2 - 64

36 = v^2 - 64

36 + 64 = v^2

100 = v^2

So, v= 10m/s......
