Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume the two cars be Car A  and Car B

Velocity of Car A,

v_{A}=90\:km/hr

and

Velocity of Car B,

v_{B}=72\:km/hr

Since the Cars are moving in the opposite direction, their velocities will add up.

Therefore,

v_{Relative}=v_{A}+v_{B}=(90+72)\:km/hr=162\:km/hr

Answer:

45m/s

car moving in the same direction

72km/hr=20m/s

90km/hr=25m/s

now,

Vab=Va+Vb

=20+25

45m/s
