Explanation:

20 metre per second conversion of units are very important. I think this answer is correct though I have a little confusion due to that uniform speed in the question.

\large\underline{\bigstar \: \: {\sf Given-}}

  • Distance covered by car (s) = 24km in time (t) = 20min

\large\underline{\bigstar \: \: {\sf To \: Find-}}

  • Speed with which the Distance was covered (v).

\large\underline{\bigstar \: \: {\sf Formula \: Used -}}

\implies\underline{\boxed{\sf Speed=\dfrac{Distance}{Time}}}

\large\underline{\bigstar \: \: {\sf Solution-}}

Convert minute into second

\implies{\sf t=20\;min}

\implies{\sf t=20\times 60}

\implies{\bf t=1200\:s}

Convert km into metre

\implies{\sf s=24\: km}

\implies{\sf s=24 \times 1000}

\implies{\bf s = 24000\;m }

____________________________________

\implies{\sf v=\dfrac{s}{t} }

\implies{\sf v=\dfrac{24000}{1200 }}

\implies{\bf v = 20\: m/s}

\large\underline{\bigstar \: \: {\sf Answer-}}

Speed of car is {\bf 20\: m/s}
