Average speed = total distance/ total time

30 min= 30/60 hr = 1/2 hr

40 min= 40/60 hr = 2/3 hr

total time= 1/2+2/3= 7/6 hr

total distance= 30 km+ 30 km= 60 km

average speed= 60/7/6= 60*6/7= 360/7= 51.42 km/hr

average velocity=(total distance)/total time

total distance=(30+30)km=60000m

total time=(30+40)min=(70×60) second

=60000/(70×60)

=100/7

=14.28m/s
