20 km/h, then for 0.4 hour with a velocity of 60 km/h
and in the last for 0.2 hour with a velocity of 20 km/h.
From time-velocity graph of the car determine
How much time the car
takes in first 14 km??Indicate that area in your graph
which indicates the journey of first 14 km.

Answer:

0.3 hr

Explanation:

A car moves first for 0.1 hour with a velocity of

20 km/h, then for 0.4 hour with a velocity of 60 km/h

and in the last for 0.2 hour with a velocity of 20 km/h.

Total Area covered

= 20 * 0.1  + 60*0.4  + 20*0.2

= 2 + 24 + 4

= 30 km

To cover 14 km

20*0.1 = 2 km

Rest 12 km = 0.6 * t

=> t = 0.2 hrs

=> t = 0.1 + 0.2 = 0.3 hr  for 14 km
