distance¹ = speed¹ x time¹
= 60 x 2
= 120 km
distance² = speed² x time²
= 40 x 2
= 80 km
total time taken = 2+2 = 4 hrs
total distance covered= 120+80
= 200km.
average speed = total distance /total time
= 200/4
= 50 km/hr !
