Distance = Speed*Time

1st Case = 30*1/2 = 15km

2nd Case = 25*1 = 25km

3rd case = 40*2 = 80km

Total Distance Travelled = 15+25+80 = 120km

Total Time = 1/2+1+2 = 7/2

Average Speed = 120/ 7/2 = 120*2/7 = 240/7 km/h

Or 34.28 km/h

Answer:

As we know that

average speed = total distance covered / total time taken

here, total speed is 30+25km/hr = 55 * 5/18 m/s

total time = 90 mins

so,average time = 15.27 / 90

=0.696
