case-1
speed = 40 km/h
time= 15 min
time= 15/60hrs
distance= speed × time
= 40×15/60
= 10 km

case-2
speed = 60km/ h
time = 15 min
= 15/ 60 hrs
distance = speed × time
= 60×15/60
= 15 km
according to case 1 and 2
total distance = (10+15) km
total distance = 25km

1st the car moved for 15 minutes with a speed of 40km/hr
So distance will be 40/60 into 15 =
10 km
Then it moved for 15 minutes with a speed of 60km/hr
So 60/60 into 15 = 15
So final distance = 10+15 = 25 km
SO THE CAR TRAVELLED A TOTAL OF 25 KM
