Distance= Speed × Time

D1= 40 × 15/60=10 km

D2= 60 × 15/60= 15 km

Distance covered in 30 minutes
=D1 +D2
=10+15
=25 km

speed= distance/time
40km= x * 15
x = speed*time
x = 40 * 15/60
x = 10 km
D1= 10 km

D2=speed * time
D2= 60* 15/60
D2=15 km

Total of 30 minutes
= D1 + D2
= 10km + 15km
= 25km
Ans: 25 km in half an hour
