A car moving on a straight path covers a distance 1 km due east in 100 s. What is (i) the speed, (ii) velocity of car?(with process plz )

The motion is straight line therefore magnitude of distance and displacement is same.
Speed = distance/ time

distance = 1Km = 1000m
Time = 100 s
= 1000/100
= 10 m/s
speed of car = velocity of car = 10m/s
