A car moving on a straight path covers a distance of 1
km due east in 100 s. What is (i) the speed and (ii) the
velocity, of car ?

Answer:

Speed = Dist. x time

S = 1000 x 100

S = 100000 m/s

S = {100000x60x60/1000} km/hr

S = {3.6 lacs} km/hr

And the velocity will be same as speed.
