A car moving on a straight road apply brakes and a constant
deceleration of 4 m/s2 happens. If the initial speed of the car
was 20m/s, how long does it take the car to stop and what
distance the car travels before coming to stop. Sketch the

Answer:

after 50m the car will stop

v^2-u^2=2as

0^2-20^2=2×4×s

400=8s

400/8=s

s=50m
