if the car has a speed of 18km/hr

then every sec it accelerates to 1m/s^2.... so at the 5th sec it also acceleration to 1 m/s^2...

so distance=speed × time

=18×5=90 km /hr

Therefore,the distance at 5th sec is 90km/hr....

plz comment if helpful...

tushar3439: it is wrong
tushar3439: your answer is wrong
tushar3439: see my answer it is the write answer
tushar3439: i have used equation of motion

U=18km/hr

A=1m/s²

T=5s

5

18km=18 * — = 5m/s

18

Equation of motion : s=ut+½at²

s=5*5+½*1*5²

s=25+½*25

s=25+12.5

s=37.5

Answer=37.5m
