Solution:-
Initial velocity(u)=72km/h
To convert it in m/s we'll multiple it by 5/18
 =  > 72 \times  \frac{5}{18}  \\  =  > 20
Initial velocity(u)=20m/s
Final velocity(v)=0m/s
Time =10sec
Now,
acceleration =  \frac{v - u}{t}  \\  =  >  \frac{0 - 20}{10}   \\  =  >  \frac{ - 20}{10} \\  =  >  - 2
So,
Retardation= 2m/s^2
