A car moving with uniform velocity of 100m/s is decelerated at 2.5m/s square to stop. calculate. i)time taken for the car to stop. ii)distance travelled by the car before it brought to rest​

use

v=u+at

v=100

a=2.5

u=o

then you get (t=400sec.)

for distance use

s=ut+1/2at(square)

s=0×400+1/2×2.5×400×400
