Given :-

As the car starts from rest then its initial velocity will become zero. It means it is moving with uniform velocity.

Force is directly proportional to mass and Acceleration of the body.

Mass of car = m

Velocity of Car = V = v(î)

Time = t = 2s

a = V/t

a = v(î)/2

As we know that,

F = ma

F = m[v(î)]/2

F = mv(î)/2

Hence,

Force mv/2 acting in eastward due to engine and overcomes the friction of the road.
