Solutions :-

Given :
A car runs at the speed of 66 km per hour.
60 minutes = 66 × 1000 × 100 cm
1 minute = 6600000/60 = 110000 cm

Find the circumference of the wheel of a car :-

Circumference = Speed of a car / Number of revolution of wheel per minute
= 110000 / 400 cm
= 275 cm

Now,
Find the radius of the wheel of the car :-

Circumference = 2πr
=> 275 = 2 × 22/7 × r
=> r = (275 × 7)/(2 × 22) = 43.75

Hence,
Radius of a wheel of a car = 43.75 cm

Question:

A car runs at the speed of 66 km per hour each of the wheel making 400 revolutions per minute find the radius of the wheel of the car in centimetres

Solution:

In Above Question, It is given that,

A car runs at the speed of 66 km per hour..

So,, In 1 minute =  \frac{66 \times 1000 \times 100}{60} cm

= 110000 cm

Now,,

we have to find the circumference of the car's wheel...

Circumference =
 \frac{speed \: of \: a \: car}{no. \: of \: revolutions \: of \: the \: wheel \: per \: minute}

 \frac{110000}{400} cm

275cm

Then,,

we have to find the radius of the wheel

circumference = 2 \: \pi \: r

275 = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r

r \: = \frac{275 \times 7}{2 \times 22}

r = \frac{1925}{44}

r = 43.75

So,,

The Radius of the wheel = 43.75 cm
