A swimming pool is 20 m in length,15 m in breadth,4 m in depth.Find the cost of cementing its floor and walls at 35rs per square meters.

CSA = curved surface area (four walls)

CSA + 1 base of the swimming pool = 2h ( l + b ) + lb

= 8 ( 35 ) + 300

= 280 + 300

= 580m²


hence, cost of cementing at rs 35 per m² = 35 × 580 = rs 20300
