Answer:

Given:

u=5.55 m/s

v =16.66 m/s

t=6 seconds

To Find:

Acceleration =?

Solution:

Acceleration=v-u/t

a=16.66-5.55/6

a=11.11/6

a=1.85 m/s².

Therefore,

Acceleration is 1.85 m/s².

*Another way to solve it:

Given:

u=5.55 m/s

v=16.66m/s

Since we know that,

v=u+at........(Newton's first equation of motion)

Therefore,by substituting the values,

16.66=5.55+6×a

16.66-5.55=6a

11.11=6a

a=11.11/6

a=1.85m/s²

Therefore,Acceleration is 1.85m/s²

Note:S.I unit of acceleration is m/s² that of C. G. S unit is cm/s².

Given:-

Speed of car increases from 5.55m/s to 16.66m/s

So , We have

Initial velocity of car(u) = 5.55m/s

Final velocity of car (v)= 16.66m/s

Time taken by car (t) = 6 seconds

To find:-

The acceleration produced by car

We know newton first equation of motion which is

\boxed{\textsf{\textbf{v=u+at}}}

\longrightarrow\sf 16.66= 5.55+a\times 6\\ \\ \longrightarrow\sf 16.66-5.55= 6a\\ \\ \longrightarrow\sf 11.11= 6a\\ \\ \longrightarrow\sf \cancel{\dfrac{11.11}{6}}=a\\ \\ \longrightarrow\sf 1.85m/s^2=a

\underline{\boxed{\textsf{\textbf{Acceleration\ produced \ by \ car = 1.85m/s}}^2}}

\underline{\bigstar{\sf{\ Some \ Formula \ Related \ to\ this :-}}}

\sf\bullet s= ut+\dfrac{1}{2}at^2\\ \\ \bullet\sf v^2=u^2+2as

Where ,

s= Distance

u= Initial velocity

v= final velocity

a= acceleration

t= time
