A car start from rest and accelerate at 2m/s2 from 10sec. Find the final velocity and the distance travelled

v=u+at



Given,
u=0
a=2m/s
t=10 sec
v=0+2 (10)
=20 m/s
s= ut+1/2 at square
= 0 (10)+1/2×2×10×10
= 0+100
=100 m

Initial velocity = u = 0 m/s

Acceleration = a = 2 m/s²

Time = t = 10 sec

Final velocity = v

equation of motion ,
v = u + at
   = 0 + 2×10
   = 20 m/s

Final velocity = v = 20 m/s

Distance traveled = s

v² - u² = 2as

20² = 2 × 2 × s

400 = 4s

s = 100 m

distance traveled = s = 100 m
