a car start from rest and it gets finnal velocity 15 meters per sec after 3 min . Find distance cover by it in that time​

• Car starts from Rest i.e Initial velocity is 0m/s
• Final velocity (v) = 15 m/s
• time = 3 min = 180 sec

✠To find:-

• Distance covered by the body

✠SoLuTiOn :-

Firstly we find the acceleration of the body We know that

⟶ Acceleration = v-u /t

• a = accelartion
• v = final velocity
• u = initial velocity
• t = time taken

✠Substituting the values :-

⟶ a = 15 - 0/ 180

⟶ a = 15/180

⟶ a = 3/36

✠a = 1/ 12 m/s²

We know that from equations of motion ,

v² - u² = 2as

• v = final velocity
• u = initial velocity
• a = accelartion
• s = Distance covered

⟶ (15)² - (0)² = 2 × 1/ 12 × s

⟶ 225 = s/6

⟶ s = 225× 6

✠s = 1350m

So,the distance covered is 1350m
