Gíven :-

  • The car starts at 8 AM.
  • The total distance travelled=100km.
  • The constant speed of the car = 160 km/hr.

To fínd :-

Find on what time does the car reaches

Solutíon :-

Now, We know that,

 \longrightarrow \sf speed = \frac{distance}{time} \\

 \longrightarrow \sf time = \frac{distance}{speed} \\

 \longrightarrow \sf time = \frac{ \cancel{100}}{ \cancel{160} } = \frac{5}{8} \\

 \longrightarrow \sf time = 0.625hrs

let's convert hrs into mins

 \longrightarrow \sf time = 0.625 \times 60

 \longrightarrow \sf time = 37.5mins

the car started race at 8:00 am

8:00 + 37.5 = 8:38am

Hence, The car will reach the destination at 8:38 AM.
