Given :-

  • Initial velocity = 0 [ beacuse it is starting from rest ]

  • Final velocity = 50 m/s

  • Time taken = 10 sec

To Find :-

  • Acceleration

Solution :-

We have,

  • u = 0
  • v = 50 m/s
  • t = 10 sec

Substituting the value in 1st equation of motion :-

➩ v = u + at

➩ 50 = 0 + a × 10

➩ 50 = 10a

➩ a = 50/10

➩ a = 5

Acceleration = 5 m/s²

v = 0

u = 50

t = 10

V = u + at

0 = 50 + a(10)

= 50 + 10a

10a = -50

a = -50/10

a = -5

Hence acceleration is -5
