A car starts from rest and accelerates uniformly at the rate of 1m/s2

for 5s. It then

maintains a constant velocity for next 30s. Then brakes are applied and the car is

uniformly retarded to rest in 10s. Also plot v-t graph for the motion of the car

Answer:

s= ut+1/2at^ 2

u= 0

s= 1/2*1*5*5

s= 5m

v= u+at

v= 1*10

v= 10m/sec
