Answer:

Given that

Initial velocity=0

Final velocity=16m/s

Average velocity of car=Initial velocity +final velocity/2

=0+16/2

=16/2m/s

=8m/s.

☘️ Given :

  • Initial Velocity (u) = 0 m/s
  • Final velocity (v) = 16 m/s
  • Time taken (t) = 8 s

______________________

☘️ Solution :

Acceleration :

  • Formula: v = u + at

16 = 0 + a × 8

16 = 0 + 8a

16 = 8a

8a = 16

a = 16/8

a = 2

.°. The acceleration = 2 m/

Distance covered :

  • Formula: - = 2as

(16)² - (0)² = 2 × s

256 - 0 = 2s

2s = 256

s = 256/2

s = 128

.°. the distance covered = 128 m

Average speed :

  • Formula: Average speed = Total distance/Total time

128/8

16

.°. the average speed is 16 m/s.
