Answer:

50 m

Explanation:

  • Given : u = 0 m/s
  • : v = 20 m/s
  • : T = 5 s
  • To find : S = ?
  • We know that
  • a = v - u/ t
  • a = 20 - 0 / 5
  • a = 4 m/

Now

By 2 equation of motion

S = ut + 1/2 at²

S = 0 × 5 + 1/2 × 4 × 5²

S = 0 + 1/2 × 4 × 25

S = 1 × 2 × 25

S = 50 m

Hope It helps you

Thanks

Given : A car starts from rest and attains a velocity of 20m/s in 5s.

To Find : the distance during this  time.

Solution:

u = 0

v = 20 m/s

t = 5 s

v= u + at

=> 20 = 0 + a(5)

=> a = 4 m/s²

S = ut + (1/2)at²

=> S = 0 + (1/2)(4)* 5²

=> S = 2 * 25

=> S = 50 m

the distance during this  time = 50 m

Another method :

S =t * (v + u)/2

=> S = 5 * (20 + 0)/2

=> S = 50 m
