Here given u = 0 m/s ,
v = 8 m/s
t = 2 seconds
Now, a = (v - u)/t i.e 8/2 = 4m/s^2
Let the distance covered be s.
Therefore,
v^2 - u^2 = 2as
8^2 = 2 × 4 × s
64 = 8s
s = 8 m
So the distance covered is 8 m.
