a car starts from rest and moves along rhe x-axis wirh constant acceleration 5 metre per second square for 8 sec .If it then continuos with constant velocity ,what rhe dustance will the car cover in 12sec since it started from the rest​

Explanation:

In the first 8 secs car accelerated at a speed of5m/sec^2

hence velocity will be v = at

v = 5*8 = 40m/sec

Distance travelled while car accelerating is D = st

d=40*8 =320 meters.

After 8 secs car stopped accelerating and started moving at a constant velocity of 40 m/sec for 12 secs

distance travelled here is d=st

d=40*12 = 480 meters

Total distance car travelled since car started is 320 + 480 = 800meters.
