v= u +at
v= at= 5*8=40m/s
s=ut+1/2at²
s=1/2*5*8²= 160m
Distance covered in 8 sec = 160 m
v = 40m/s
a= 0
time = 12-8=4sec
s= ut= 40*4=160m
Distance travelled in 12 sec = 160+160=320m.
v= at= 5*8=40m/s
