A car starts from rest,moves in a straight line with a constant acceleration and covers a distance of 64m in 4s. Calculate it's (a)acceleration (b) final velocity (c) how much time will it cover in 18m.

so putting the value we have

64=a×16×1/2

now

v=u+at

so putting the values

v= 8×4=32ms^-1

now given s`=18 m

so

s`=1/2at^2

thus putting the value

18=1/2×8×t^2

t^2=4.5

t=√4.5s
