A car starts with a velocity of 10 m/s and accelerates at the rate of 5 m/s^2. Find the final velocity when the car has travelled a distance of 30 metre.

v²=u²+(2 *a*s)

where

v is the final velocity

u is the initial velocity  

a is the acceleration

s is the distance

so

V² = 100 + (2*5*30)

V² = 400

V = √400

so the answer is  

V = 20 m/s
