Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say speed of Bus = B km/Hr

then Speed of Car = B + 15 km/Hr

Distance = 90 km

Time = Distance / Speed

Time taken by Bus = 90/B  Hr

Time Taken by Car = 90/(B +15) Hr

Car Takes 30 minute less = 30/60 = 1/2 Hr

Time taken by Bus - Time Taken by Car = 1/2

=> 90/B - 90/(B+15)  = 1/2

Multiply both sides by 2B(B+15)

=> 90×2(B+15) - 90×2B = B(B+15)

=> 180B + 2700 - 180B = B² + 15B

=> B² + 15B - 2700 = 0

=> B² + 60B - 45B - 2700 = 0

=> B(B+60) - 45(B+60) = 0

=> (B-45) (B+60) = 0

=> B = 45     ( Bus speed can not be negative so B =-60 not possible)

Bus Speed = 45 km/Hr

Car Speed = 45 + 15 = 60 km/Hr
