a car travelled 100k. m distance with a speed of 60kmph. and 200kmph. distance with a speed of 45kmph. what is the average speed to cover the total distance?

Average speed = Total distance / Total time.

1st case = time = DISTANCE / SPEED.

= /60
= 10/6 SEC

2ND CASE

= TIME = DISTANCE \ SPEED

TIME = 200/45

time = 40/9

so total time = 10/6 + 40/9

30+80/18
110/18

now speed = 300/ 110/18

5400/110

49.09m/s
