Distance = 360 km

Time = 8 hours

First, we will find the speed of the car

Speed = distance/time

           = 360/8

          = 45 km/hr

1)Now, we have to find the distance covered in 15 hours

Speed = distance/time

     45 = distance/15

distance = 45 × 15

              = 675 km

Hence, the car will cover a distance of 675 km in 15 hours

2)Also, we have to find the time taken  to travel 315 km

Speed = distance/time

time = distance/ speed

     = 315/45

    = 7 hours

Hence, to travel a distance of 315 km the time taken will be 7 hours

Given,

Distance travel at a constant speed = 360 km

Time take to travel that distance  = 8 hours

Let the constant speed be x then,

We know that,

Speed = Distance/Time

⇒x = 360km/8hours

⇒x = 45km/hour

∴The constant speed of car = 45km/hour

Speed is constant means it will not change so,

Speed of car = 45km/hour

Time = 15hours [Given]

Let the distance be y then,

We know that,

Speed = Distance/Time

⇒Distance = Speed*Time

⇒y = (45km/hour)*15hour

⇒y = 675km

∴Distance covered in 15hours is 675km

Speed is constant means it will not change so,

Speed of car = 45km/hour

Distance = 315km [Given]

Let Time taken to travel 315km be z

We know that,

Speed = Distance/Time

⇒Time = Distance/Speed

⇒z = 315km/(45km/hour)

⇒z = 7hour

∴Time taken to travel 315km is 7hour
