Answer:

Initial velocity - 30m/s

Final velocity - 0m/s

Distance - 5m

Acceleration-:

v {}^{2}   -  u ^{2} = 2as \\

A.T.Q

(0)^2 - (30)^2 = 2×a×5m

0-900 = 2×a×5

-900 = 2×a×5

-900/5 = 2a

-180 = 2a

-180/2 = a

Acceleration = -90

Retardation= 90m/s^2 ( please note that we must not use minus or negative sign in retardation because retardation itself means negative acceleration )

Retardation- Accelaration acting opposite to the direction of velocity .

when Velocity is decreasing with time ,then Accelartion becomes negative .
