Solution

Given :-

  • Distance cover by car(D) = 120 km
  • Taken Time by car (T) = 2 hours

Find :-

  • Speed of car

Explanation

Using Formula

Speed = Distance/Time

So,

➡Speed = 120/2

➡Speed = 60 km/h

We know,

  • 1000 m = 1 km

Then,

  • 60 km = 60,000m

And,

  • 1 hour = 60 min = 3600 second

So, Now change km/h into m/s

➡ 60km/h = 60,000/3600

➡60km/h = 600/36

➡60km/h = 100/6

➡70km/h = 50/3 m/s.

Hence

  • Speed of car = 50/3 m/s.
