Answer:

4m/s

Explanation:  First it travels 3km  in 10 min. (3000m in 600sec)

                        When the car returns it travels 3km in 15 min. (3000m in 900sec.)

Avg.Speed= Total distance traveled/ Total time taken

                      3000+3000/600+900= 6000/1500

                     So, the answer comes 4m/s

This is the answer :)

Given,

The distance travelled by the car in the first round : 3km

time taken to travel the said distance = 10 min

Distance traveled at the second round: 3km

time taken to travel the distance = 15min

The formula for speed,

distance = speed× time.

speed = distance/ time

average speed = total distance/ total time taken

avg speed= (3000+3000)/ (10+15)

= 6000/25

= 240m/min

Hence,

The answer for the above question is, the average speed of the car is 240 m/min.
