Here,
It's given that distance traveled = 30
And the 2nd half distance covered = 30km

So,
Total distance traveled = 60km

Now, as you know
Speed = distance /time ( if we replace distance and time)
Time = distance/speed

Now,
1st half the time = 30/40 = 3/4
And 2nd half the time = 30/20 = 3/2

So,
Total Time = 3/4 + 3/2 = 9/4

Now,
Average speed = total distance /total time
= 60 ÷ 9/4
= 80/3
=26.67km/h
