a car travels 300 km in 5 hours calculate its speed in metre per second square universe

shreeamble: Speed = d/s
speed 1= 300/60
=5km/h
speed2=300/50=6km/h

hey mate here is your answer ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Given,
Distance = 300 km
Time = 5 hr
Speed = ???

We know,
Speed = distance/time
           = 300/5
           = 60 km/hr

Now, convert in m/s:
1km = 1000m
1 hour = 3600 seconds

Then,
60 km/hr
= 60000 m/3600 s
= 20 m/s

superstricker7: How this 20m/s came

Speed and Time

Distance traveled by car = 300 \ km

Time taken to travel this distance = 5 \ hours

As we know that ,

\frac{distance \ covered}{time \ taken} = speed

\implies \frac{300}{5} =60\ km/hour

As per demand of question we need to convert this speed in meter/ second.

1 \ km = 1000\ m\\and \\1 \ hour= 60\ minutes\\1\ minute = 60 \ seconds\\So,\\1\ hour = 3600 \ seconds

Conversion,

60\ km/hr= 60\times [\frac{1000}{60\times 60} ]meter/second

\implies 60 \ km/hr=\frac{50}{3}m/sec = 16.66\ m/s

Hence, 16.66 m/s is the required speed of the car.
