A car travels a certain distance with a speed of 50km/have &return with a speed of 40km/h. calculate the average speed & average velocity

let certain distance=x m


hence avg spped. = total distance/total time
= 2x/{(x/50)+(x/40)}

=2/{(1/50)+(1/40)}

= 44.44kmph

avg velocity=0kmph
because returns to its initial position

displacement=0
hence velocity=0
