Solution :-

It's given that a car travels a distance of 85.5 km in 4.5 litres of petrol.

Now we have to find the distance covered by a car in one litre of petrol.

By unitary method we can find the distance covered by a car in one litre of petrol.

4.5 litres = 85.5 km

1 litre = 85.5/4.5 = 19 km

Hence,

19 km of distance covered by a car in one litre of petrol.
