A car travels at a speed of 40km/hr for 2 hours and then at 60 Km/hr for 3 hours. What is the average speed of the car in km/hr for the entire
journey?

1st Distance = speed × time = 40 × 2 = 80km

2nd Distance = speed × time = 60 × 3 = 180km

Average speed = Total distance / Total time

= ( 80 + 180 ) / (3+2) = 260/5 = 52km/h
