A car travels at a speed of 50 km/h for
30 min, at 30 km/h for the next 15 min and
then at 70 km/h for the next 45 min. What is
the average speed of the car? ​

= v1t1 + V2+v2t2 + v3t3 /T1+ T2 +T3

= 50×0.5 + 30× 0.25 + 70 × 0.75/0.5 +0.25 + 0.75 km/h

=25 + 7.5 + 52.5 /1.5 =85.1.5

=85/3/2

= 170/3
