Answer:

Explanation:

DIstance between A to B = 1km/hr (Given)

Let the distance between A and B be = d

According to the formula -

Distance = Speed ×Time

Time taken to go from A to B = t1 =d/V1.

Time taken to come from B to A = t2 = d/V2.

Average velocity = Total distance/ Total time

Then,

= V(average) = 2d/ t1+t2

= 2d/d/V1+d/V2

Thus, V(average) = 2(V1)(V2)/(V1+V2)
