average speed = total distance/total time taken
let the distance between A and B = x
time taken travelling from A to B = x/30
time taken travelling from B to A = x/50
total distance travelled = 2x
total time taken = x/30 + x/50
average speed = 2x/(x/30+x/50) =75/2=37.5km/h
